Who we are

Sanctuary Creative Studio is a community event space in HSR Layout, Bengaluru, run by Sanctuary Partners, GSTIN 29AFYFS3263E1ZD. Registered details are on the contact page.

What we offer

Classes, clubs, and gatherings you can come to, and the room itself, which you can hire for your own event. Prices and dates are confirmed with you directly before anything is booked. Anything listed on this site is subject to availability and can change; we will always tell you if it does.

Booking

A place is yours once we have confirmed it and payment has cleared, not before. For hiring the room, the full fee and a refundable deposit are paid in advance, and you sign a short venue agreement covering timings, the areas you can use, and damage. That agreement is the binding one. The readable summary lives on our policies page, and where the two differ, the signed agreement wins.

In the space

The room holds up to 50 guests at a time, not counting the organiser's team. It is free of alcohol, drugs, and smoke, and that is not negotiable. Beyond that we ask very little: arrive in a state to take part, keep the volume where it belongs, look after the room and each other, and be open to people who are not like you. We can ask someone to leave if they make the space unsafe or unpleasant for others. It almost never happens, and we would rather it stayed that way.

Your own things

Please keep an eye on your belongings. We will do our best to reunite you with anything left behind, but we cannot take responsibility for it. If you hire the room, you are responsible for your guests, anything you bring in, and any damage during your booking.

Accessibility and access needs

There is step-free entry, a lift, and an accessible washroom. If you need something else to make a session work, such as a seat near the door, lower light, or a quiet spot, ask when you book. It is not a favour, and you do not have to explain why.

The words and photographs here belong to us or to the people who made them. Please do not republish them as your own. We keep the site accurate, but details do change; if something here contradicts what we have told you directly, ask and we will sort it out.

If something goes wrong

Tell us first. Most problems are a five-minute conversation. If it cannot be settled that way, these terms are governed by the laws of India and the courts at Bengaluru have jurisdiction.
