What we actually collect

Almost everything on this site works without telling us anything. Browse the calendar, read about the room, look at the posters: none of that asks who you are.

You give us information in three situations, and only what you type:

• You message us. Your name, phone number, and whatever you write. Enquiries on this site open WhatsApp, so the message sits in your WhatsApp and ours.
• You book or hire the room. Your name, phone number, email, and the details of your event, because we cannot hold a date without them.
• You offer to help. Your name, how to reach you, and what you would like to do.

We do not ask for your date of birth, your address, or anything we have no use for. If a form here ever asks for something and you cannot see why, please ask. It is a fair question and usually means we got the form wrong.

Analytics

This site is hosted on Cloudflare, and we use their standard web analytics to see which pages people visit and how quickly the site loads. It is aggregate and privacy-friendly: no cookies for tracking, no advertising profiles, no selling data to anyone. We use it to make the site faster and easier to get around, and for nothing else.

Your device also remembers a couple of small preferences locally, such as whether you last viewed the calendar as cards or a list. That stays on your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.

How we keep it safe

Anything you send us is kept securely, seen only by the handful of people who run the studio, and used only for the thing you sent it for. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone for marketing. Where a payment is involved, the payment provider handles your card details directly. We never see or store them.

How long we keep it

Booking and payment records are kept as long as the law requires us to keep our accounts, which for a registered business in India is a few years. Everything else, such as enquiries and offers to help, we keep only while it is useful and clear out afterwards.

Deleting your information

You can ask us to delete what we hold about you at any time, and you do not need a reason. Message us on WhatsApp at +91 99450 75653 or email curators@sanctuarystudioblr.com with the word "delete", and we will remove it and confirm when it is done. We aim to do it within seven days.

The one exception is records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices for a booking you have already paid for. We will tell you if that applies and delete the rest.

You can also ask us what we hold, or ask us to correct something that is wrong. Same contacts, same timeline.

Children

Some of what we run is for families, and children are welcome with an adult. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. Bookings for a child are made by their parent or guardian.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Nothing here is written to catch you out, so if something reads as if it is, tell us and we will fix the wording.
