Cancellations and refunds

Plans change. Here is exactly what happens to your money when they do, so nobody has to guess.

Last updated Fri, 18 Sept. This page covers Sanctuary Creative Studio, run by Sanctuary Partners.

Classes and events

Tickets and class places are non-refundable. Small sessions fill and empty on numbers, and a late drop-out is a seat nobody else could take.

But a ticket is yours to pass on. Give it to a friend, a colleague, or anyone who would like it, free, any time before the session starts. Just tell us the new person's name so we know who to expect at the door. There is no fee and no limit on this.

If we cancel or move a session, you choose: a full refund, or a place on another date. That is on us, not you.

Hiring the room

How much of the hire fee comes back depends on how much notice we get:

  • 15 days or more before: a full refund of the hire fee.
  • 7 to 14 days before: half the hire fee is refunded.
  • Under 7 days before: no refund of the hire fee.

The reason it tightens close to the date is simple: once your booking is in the diary we turn other people away, and a week out we cannot fill it again.

You can reschedule once instead of cancelling, free, subject to the room being free on the new date. Ask as early as you can and we will usually find something.

The refundable deposit

Every hire includes a refundable deposit, separate from the hire fee. It covers finishing on time and leaving the room as you found it. It comes back to you in full within 48 hours of the booking ending, assuming nothing is damaged and you did not run over.

If we do need to deduct something, we will tell you what and why, with photographs, before we do it. The deposit is returned even if you cancel, whatever the notice.

How to cancel

Message us on WhatsApp at +91 99450 75653 or email curators@sanctuarystudioblr.com. The time we receive your message is the time we go by, so send it as soon as you know. We will confirm in writing.

When refunds arrive

We start a refund within two working days of agreeing it, back to the way you paid. Banks and payment providers then take their own time, usually five to seven working days. If it has been longer than that, chase us; something has gone wrong and we would like to know.

If you are unhappy

Tell us. We are a small studio and we would rather hear it from you than read it somewhere else. Everything on this page is the default, not a wall; if your situation is genuinely unusual, say so and we will listen.
